Shah Rukh Khan stars as the hero, with his daughter Suhana Khan in another lead role, while Abhishek Bachchan plays the villain in the Hindi film King, which is currently in production. Directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously delivered the blockbuster Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan, this film is generating significant buzz. Currently, Deepika Padukone is in Poland for the shooting of King. The film’s production has already begun, and Deepika joined the sets today. Expressing her joy on Instagram, Deepika shared that she is thrilled to be part of King’s shoot and highlighted that their friendship, spanning 18 years, continues to grow stronger.
On another note, Deepika Padukone has reportedly stepped away from Prabhas’ Kalki 2. Rumors suggest that Deepika demanded a higher remuneration for Kalki 2 compared to Kalki 2898 AD, insisted that the producers cover her staff’s salaries, and sought a share in the film’s profits. As a result, the Kalki team reportedly decided to drop her from the project. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if Deepika will respond to these speculations. However, she has only shared updates about King and remained silent on the Kalki controversy.
